With a VR headset and a program called Gravity Sketch I build subdivision surface models for 3d printing. After I build the model and export the file, I usually use Tinkercad to finalize the parts for printing; resizing things, combining things, adding elements etc . After that the part is ready to import into slicing software, which generates a Gcode file for the 3d printer to print.
I print almost exclusively with UV reactive PLA, a (technically) biodegradable, (technically) corn - based plastic with tiny particles of glow in the dark compounds suspended throughout.
